Key West

Phew! I had heard a lot of KeyWest and really wanted to visit, so we set out early morning on Sunday. It is a long long way, it rained many times and we wondered if it is fruitful to go. But we continued and stopped over at a small park named Veterans Memorial Park by the end of the Seven Mile Bridge. Though it was late, we could not help but stop at this lovely little place. The highlight was a water trail, it felt beautiful to walk around water in barefoot.

We finally reached KeyWest by 2.30 and wasted some time planning what to do. Ims badly wanted to do Snorkeling but it was at 6PM and we did not have enough time, had to travel back 6 hours to Orlando. Very Bad Planning, lesson learnt to plan well in advance.

First Went to a Cuban Restaurant and filled our hungry tummies. Then booked just a Parasailing trip, it was our first time and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Our hearts are fixed on a Snorkel sometime. πŸ™‚

The return journey got tiring after a while, I almost dozed off and poor Ims drove all the way. We reached our hotel in Cocoa Beach at 12 in the night, did not have any energy left to eat and just retired to bed.

    • You know what OHW, I had no idea about water trail too, we just walked on the path in water with other people, it was awesome and later came to know it was a water trail.. πŸ˜€ Snorkel was to check out the famous coral reefs.

  1. Woohooo… I have heard my friends talk a lot about Key west off late.. Is it that good?..And para sailing sounds exciting..Were you scared or excited?

    • Hey Sia, long time.. Yes yes KeyWest is good but must for activities, nothing more than that.. I was little scared and much excited.. πŸ˜€ But trust me, it felt the safest, and I’m ready to try other adventurous activities next.
