Los Angeles – Last and Best

We had just half a day more and wanted to squeeze in as much as could. After a relaxing breakfast and some research, we checked out of Anaheim and reached Los Angeles by 11. We booked a short 2 hour guided tour to check out the city, which included Star homes (some very unique and interesting ones), Beverly Hills, Rodeo drive, City view and the world famous Hollywood sign.

It was fun, though we did not have much time, we saw lots and enjoyed the ride. Next we visited the Madame Tussauds museum, which was good for first timers like us. Then we did little shopping (we picked some LA Tees, fridge magnets, cap and coolers, each for just $5), clicked more pictures and checked out the Walk of Fame on the crowded streets of LA.

It was already 4 by the time we were done. We had to leave asap, but could not, without seeing the recommended Santa Monica beach. And this was the most wonderful part of our vacation. We were once again bowled over by the sheer beauty of nature. Time simply passed watching the sunset and we decided to even have dinner there and leave. We loved the Bubba gump shrimps. 😀

We reached home by 1 in the night, Phew !!
