We had guests for lunch and not much time as we woke up late to a lazy Sunday, cooked a quick meal of poori, aloo curry, but it seemed so simple, and so I added an easy yummy dessert making it complete. 🙂
Bread Slices – 3
Milk – 1 cup
Sugar – 1/2 cup
Water – 1/2 cup
Green cardamom pods – 2
Cashews – 5
Almonds – 5
Raisins – 10
Ghee – 2-3 Tbsp
Toast the bread slices on a pan applying ghee on both sides and keep aside.
Prepare a thick sugar syrup with the sugar and water and add ground cardamom to it.
Boil the milk well. Roast the desired dry fruits in ghee and keep aside.
Now comes the setting part. Tear the bread slices in a bowl. Pour the sugar syrup evenly on it, and then add the milk. Layer the roasted almonds, cashews and raisins on top and freeze to let it soak well.
